A lot of innovation is happening in our world. AI is hot topic, and at the same time we need to fight climate change more. Aviation is one industry where progress is happening, but people use planes roughly similar to 20 years ago whereas many drive around in EV (electrica Vehicles) and have solar panels on our homes heated and cooled with heatpumps that simply didn’t exist 20 years ago.
We’ve seen first hand what can happen when team compete in solar car races. Media attention creates an ecosystem where companies can participate and budget can be gathered to make a difference. Countless of companies, projets, teams have been create by the World Solar Challenge. This winning strategy can be replicated to advance clean aviation.
Clean aviation is not for just a few rich people. It can lead to many applications that benefit all mankind.
Advancing clean aviation can benefit everybody.
The goal is to create an environment in which bright minds can unleash the next breakthrough in technology and reduce the cost of VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) vehicles.
