Each industry has an association. The Vertical Flight Society (VFS) is the world’s oldest and largest professional organization devoted to advancing vertical flight technology. Established in 1943 as the American Helicopter Society (AHS) — the same year the first U.S. helicopter entered service.

VFS has served as the leading hub for sharing knowledge and driving innovation in this field. As a non-profit educational and technical society, its mission is clear: to expand and promote the science and practice of vertical flight. For more than eight decades, VFS has been at the forefront of research, collaboration, and dialogue, shaping the future of rotorcraft, tiltrotors, and emerging eVTOL aircraft.

VFS is a supporter of Flying Car Racing

The CEO of the eVTOL organization is Mr. Angelo Collins, an enthusiastic individual who listened attentively and provided valuable feedback on how the race could be organized, offering his assistance. As things are in their infancy, it’s beneficial to have the support of knowledgeable, well-connected individuals.
